Make Complex Medical Evidence
Easier to Understand
Medical evidence can be difficult to communicate through CT scans, X-rays, photographs, and other 2D images alone.
We create patient-specific 3D printed medical models for trial exhibits, transforming complex anatomy, injuries, surgical procedures, and medical devices into 3D physical models that can be viewed from every angle.
Our models can help attorneys and expert witnesses clearly show the anatomy and medical circumstances involved in a case.

Transparent and color-tinted models

What We Can Create
We can transform patient medical imaging (CT, CBCT, MRI, 3D files) into physical 3D-printed models.
Our specialty is creating clear, transparent anatomical models that allow visualization of structures that can be difficult to see in conventional 3D-printed models.
Nerves, arteries, veins, and other structures can be obscured when surrounding anatomy is printed as an opaque material.
Transparent resin allows these structures to remain visible while preserving their relationship to the surrounding anatomy.
Anatomical structures can also be clear and tinted in different colors to distinguish nerves, arteries, veins, bones, tumors, implants, and other areas of interest.
This combination of transparency and color differentiation can provide a clearer representation of complex anatomy for courtroom presentations and expert testimony.
Why Use a 3D Medical Model for a Trial Exhibit?
A physical model can help communicate complicated anatomical relationships, injuries, and procedures without requiring the viewer to interpret individual CT or MRI slices.
Highlight Specific Areas of Interest
Models can be customized to emphasize the anatomy that matters to a case. Transparent materials, color tinting, cutaways, and removable components can help draw attention to specific structures or injuries.
Give Experts a Physical Reference
Medical experts can use a physical model to demonstrate anatomy, explain an injury, describe a procedure, or illustrate the position of a medical device during testimony.
Show Spatial Relationships
3D models make it possible to see how bones, nerves, arteries, veins, organs, and medical devices relate to one another in three-dimensional space.

Our Workflow for Creating Your Custom Medical Models
1. Consultation & Project Planning
Our team will meet with you via Teams or Zoom to understand your requirements, intended use, and design goals. We will review project examples, visual references, and any existing specifications to align with your team's vision.
2. Digital Design & Engineering
Our engineers will use CT scans, CBCT scans, MRI datasets, DICOM files, STL files, or our proprietary anatomical library to create and modify the model based on your requirements.
Custom features and modifications—such as injury sites, screws, implants, medical device replicas, or other case-specific details—can be designed and integrated into the model to clearly demonstrate the medical evidence.
3. Design Approval
Before manufacturing begins, your team will review and approve the final digital design. We will make any necessary revisions to ensure the model meets your specifications.
4. Manufacturing & Post-Processing
After approval, the model will be 3D printed and undergo post-processing, including finishing, sanding, and curing. Additional features such as coloring or labeling can be added as needed.
5. Delivery
Models will be securely packaged and shipped to your team.
